Thanks to some visitors we have been rated on ratebeer.com. We had actually vaulted into the top 10 world beer establishments. To our dismay many of the perfect scores were deleted. This is because many beer and Sergio’s visitors from out of the area had borrowed the computer here to log on and rate us. Therefore the ratings from the same IP address were not acceptable. Hopefully some will rerate us when they see this article. I know we had 2 Belgian citizens, and others from Kansas City, Washington DC. California, Oregon, Brasil, Michigan,  and Canada were also represented. It is imperative that you rerate this establishment. As for our regulars who haven't found the urge or time to rate us, please don't be shy. Just follow this link and put Sergio’s and Shelbyville KY back on the world map as a top beer destination.

Hints about rating!!!

Ambience: Score 5 for the decor related to beer such as bottles, tap handles, tin signs, maps, posters, and blues music, and eclectic customers.

Service: Score 10 for me and what I attempt to do to make your visit interesting and memorable. This is not a regular tavern, bar, or bierstube where you might feel rushed. When I discover great places throughout the world, I like to enjoy the atmosphere and strike up a conversation with a server in the know. This is what I want to avail to the customers here, so Sergio’s continues its growth.

Selection: Score 15 simply because not only do we offer well over 600 beers, but many are only available here and in their country of origin. We are responsible for being the first to offer Chimay Triple on draft and we are constantly working to bring in beer no other place has on their menu. Also, if you want  a special beer I can stomach and approve, then I will try to acquire that brand through my importers. I have distributors that are also progressive and will be my middle man so we comply with the 3-tiered system.

Food: Score 10 because of our menu, quality, quantity, and pricing is amazing. When you see Giant it means $10 is more than enough for one person. Our variety is sensational. We have a full Mexican Menu. You want a made to order guacamole here and get just that, not some premade stuff. Our salsa is homemade, not some canned dubious hot tomato slop. We also have real Mexican dishes such as Mojarra ( whole Fried Tilapia ), Menudo and Pozole. How about an authentic coctel de camarones, or a  uperb ceviche? Want variety; we serve Hummus platters, Greek Gyros, calamari, wings, pasta, including homemade lasagna, our famous chile wontons, one pound T-bones and much more. I love to see a family come here and eat fajitas, hot wings, calamari,  lasagna and Sergio's famous Philly cheesesteak. Great variety to match the great beer selection.

Overall: Score 20 because this score indicates the overall points. So far everything is perfect,  so it follows that the overall score would be perfect!! Seriously, let me know if anything needs to be improved. How about a free ride home? Just kidding. Thanks again for taking the time to rate us.
